- No I think your message regarding the midi guitar was for me. I had asked
- about using the EC5 pedal. My request was not as complicated as it grew to
- be. I play a standard guitar a bit...not midi. At home--no
- performance....I am aware of the problems for minor, 7th chords and such
- and only want to trigger 3 or 4 chords..Such as C F and G or G C D etc.
- This gives me the capability to practice riffs on the guitar and play an
- infinite variety of simple tunes. Now, I reach over and manually key in the
- change....but it breaks my guitar playing..After looking at all the obtuse
- things the pedal can be used for (only as an external switch for
- operations, ) I thought that I may be able to configure something..styles
- or arrangements with a key change for this special purpose...Simply a major
- chord change for personal playing...The last question regarding key change
- spurred that desire again and I figured maybe I didn't try hard enough to
- find a creative way for doing this.....I think my question prompted people
- to think I was looking for more....more is good, but not practical with
- what we have been given.....I felt Korg kind of dropped the ball in their
- programing department....Many of the things you can do with the pedaL have
- no practical application.......I am trying to work around Korg's ineptness
- of creative thinking...

- To the group: Some messages I post may be directed to specific individuals,
- but may be of some (or little ) concern to others. If any of you feel these
- should be sent directly so as not to fill your mailbox....just mention it
- and I will do so. I enjoy watching these discussions and do pick up tips
- along the way..
